oic..then ya lo...not too fair lo ...especially for kids whose schools like to set 'high standard' papers..
Some more my ds' teachers were \"boasting\" that this year's SA1 papers is even more difficult than the last 2 years' PSLE papers and their own school exams! (they've already taken them earlier this month). -

That itself is way more comforting than the \"maximum score\", \"lowest score\" and \"average\". -
yah agree with u…

Hi, My daughter has been plays the cornet in the brass band in her current primary school from primary 2 to primary 6. The brass band wins gold and silver awards at SYF. However, my daughter has only a grade 5 in piano, she does not have a grade in cornet.
Does anyone know if she stands a chance in getting to NYGH/RGS/NJC via DSA? She scores distinctions in English, Maths, Science in ICAS NSW papers, does it help?
I don't want her to apply if she has low likelihood of getting in as it is unnecessarily stressful to both of us. please help? :? -
Acs I need quite a detail portfolio. How about RI. Do we need to photocopy all the certificates for the competition with the application for dsa or we wait until they call us for interview.

Yes..u can log in to RI DSA online now to check..Those academic or non-academic certificates that u mentioned in the online form need to be submitted within 10 days after online application, -

Hi,
Does it mean that if the child is given a place in the selected school through DSA, regardless of the PSLE result, he or she will be confirmed the place to study in the school? Or the child will still need to meet certain minimum score in PSLE to enter? -

Usually the school will require that the child meet the requirements for Express stream, meaning a PSLE score of at least 200. The details will be given in the DSA letter of offer and may occasionally differ depending on the school.Hi,
