A colleague told me that IB programme is a much more recognised programme (compared with A Levels) for uni in US. Anyone has more info to share on this?

Yes, I think it is true. One of my friends during her 2-year stay in states wanted to pick up a course but none recognized her Singapore certs. She had diploma from SP, n they told her that is not IB - they only recognize IB. But not sure what RI n HCI will do to help the graduates get into these overseas schools.

NUSH had done a good job in marketing their school. The Tea session last Sat; besides the talk, the \"showcase\" of the different subjects/department also a great marketing tool.
12 yr old boys n girls will be easily attracted by what they see there.
With 3 COs, he can decide in Oct which one he wants, by then he may have forgotten about the Tea session.

I remembered during the talk NUSH's principal did say that most of their students also take some US College entrace exam apart from their diploma.
Not sure whether it's SAT or not.

I think NUSH encourage the students to take SAT; but hv forgotten where I read it from.
