One of the comments made by Bluebelt was:

\"I hope ACS(I) boys will grow and mature into a new generation of all-rounder gentlemen, who are happy with their upbringing and seek to use that advantage to do good and serve others.\"

Obviously he/she is not aware of the educational system in ACS. The Singapore educational system has in recent time changed the way in accordance to the ACS tradition of a all rounded system. The previous minister who introduced the change, Tharman + Education Minister of State, Lui TY were former ACS boys...

      🙂

What is the official channel HCI will be using to inform on the DSA outcome? Snail mail, email, sms, phone call, KSForum?

I think it will be easier for HCI to annouce it here, to tell us to check our email, our letterbox, our phone.

My DS asked me a question to which I have no answer. Do they have to wear uniform for e meet principal session at ACSI this Friday?

The lady who called me mentioned nothing … Anyone can help?

                    TREX8:
Girls can apply to join the IB programme in Year 5. However, with DD settled in an IP school and doing A level track, it is not likely that we will consider this option. Moreover, DD is the type who take a long time to warm up to new friends and new environment.

                    Tinkerbelle:
Congratulations to parents who have received CO from ACSI. Personally, I like the IB programme and think that it suited my DD more. Unfortunately, ACSI takes in girls only in Year 5 and 6 ...

                    Hi Trex8,
Can girls join ACSI in Year 5 and still do their IB programme?
Hi Trex8,
Ya, I guess once your DD settle into NYGH, it's unlikely she'll want to change to a new sch in Year 5.... especially if all her friends are going to HCI. 😉

DS attended the NUSHS tea session in home clothing because it was not stated to be. However we didn't have a chance to meet the principal. But yours specified to \"Meet the principal\", so I guess it will be more appropriate to wear school uniform.

Thank you TwaTau. My DS dread wearing uniform.
