For those with co, it is even more important that they do exceedingly well in PSLE to prove their ability and not to slack!

Now may be vlim and bighead should tel dr hon that the co should be given to other since the intention is to go RI! .....

Cannot give up, mine is still on RI WL.

Is your son putting RI as first choice?

But my DS may have different idea though. Will let him decide.

Seemed like only the GEP students getting the CO from HCI. Anyone from the mainstream receiving the CO/WL from HCI too? :

I've heard of some CO from HCI mainstream, academic/maths.

It’s another WL for DS so back to square one and he needs to work hard for PSLE. I checked around a few friends with kids from different schools and it seems that the 80 mark benchmark is adopted by HCI too.

Bighead, you got no choice but to put RI as first choice unless you are confirmed 100% to take HCI. if you have not put RI as first choice it may be difficult to appeal later IF NEED TO, you get what I mean? Last year RI reject some appeal even when tscore was 262 and is higher than cut off

:thankyou: vk2010!... This second CO secured tends to give my ds some distress from the prelim and coming psle.. And definitely hope tt he will not become slack 😉 ....
Good luck to all kids Chiong for psle!!! :rahrah:

What is important for vlim now is that she should get a set of HCI and RI uniform and get her DS to parade in it then decide which school to choose

I guess if your DS chooses HCI, he should be in iSpark, and if RI, he should be in 1M or P or Q

:congrats: Probably as good as CO.
Just that now you are really forced to make a choice.

heard that WL in HCI is almost a CO. Previously they have WL1 and WL2. Is it the same this year? If so, those w WL can cast that big stone aside esp if HCI is your first choice.
