It's another WL for DS so back to square one and he needs to work hard for PSLE. I checked around a few friends with kids from different schools and it seems that the 80 mark benchmark is adopted by HCI too.

The CO from HCI help to provide us the option to have a fall back. My choice will be as follows: 1. RI(WL) 2. HCI(CO)
This is what the whole DSA process offer, and I will make full advantage of it. It maybe disrespectful to HCI, but that's life. Will guide DS in this direction if RI is still his preference, but it will still be him who will make the final ranking of the choices.

DS also received rejection letter from HCI just as he expected. He felt he didn't perform well in the Chinese test. He has taken this rejection in his stride and hoping for good news from NJC.

my very first post. so happy to receive CO from RI, ACSI and HCI. ds from gep, scored > 80%, bit of an all rounder.

at the same time, i feel the stress for the kids going thru the seletion process & receiving letters in the midst of orals/prelims.
