Same here.
i love the school, but won't force ds to go there. I think he has set his sights on RI, where most of his friends will be headed..
Too bad my DS eaten too much kantang and feels that he cannot fit in there.
We didn't even apply...................
Btw anyone of you guys went back for the reunion recently ?
I didn't but from photos posted by my friends on facebook, glad to see that Mr Fong is still very healthy. If fact he still looks the same as more than 20 years ago. -

gosh this thread is bringing back some memories ~
me too, 危楼 period. very memorable. the last day of school, we scribbled on the walls/pillars, later kenna scolded by P.
my batch was a few years pre-危楼 too..
i remember in the morning whenever i got to school very early there would always be someone practising on the chinese flute and it sounded really nice..
and the beautiful view of Bukit Timah Hill from the top-floor CT rooms, especially on a rainy day ~ i think i even put it into one of my 作文 once..

There was one day I went home in the rain, long walk out to the bus stop. Mr Fong quietly appeared out of nowhere and provided me with umbrella shelter all the way out. I was very, very touched.. Can still remember the kind look on his face

Happen to come across this thread and excited to find ex HCJCians here! I'm a few years pre-危楼 too...I love my HC days! But my DD didn't want to switch to HCI after RGS, so happy in RI JC now.
Hmmm, wonder if we stamped too hard when we cheered and sang our 山歌.... -
