which school is your ds's dream school?I have a question - my ds was given a WL from his first choice, and was given a CO from another. Should he give up the CO to other now? But worry that the WL does not materialised.
If both are CO, it will be an easy decision.

HCI. Any advice for me?

It's almost mid-day. Any news from NJC?
Went down to check. Saw the post man just leaving. Still no letter from NJC :slapshead: -
Funx3:
Yes. It there a possibility that WL might not make it?
Then WL is for HCI? -
looking4Tutor:
Most of the time WL in HCI should be as good as CO.

Best option is probably only decide after PSLE.
If your DS is very sure that he does well, with an estimated T score that should have no problem to get into HCI, then maybe you can give up the other CO. -

HCI. Any advice for me?[/quote]A percentage of those holding HCI CO will finally choose RI/NUSH etc..

Student Z is put on Waiting List (WL) by School A (his preferred school) and given a Confirmed Offer (CO) by School B, his second preferred school.
1) He puts school A as 1st choice, followed by school B. If sch A has enough remaining DSA places to admit him after students who have been given a CO by sch A and have selected sch A have been considered, Student Z will be allocated sch A if he is eligible for an academic course that sch A offers.
2) He puts sch A as 1st choice, followed by sch B. If sch A does not have enough DSA places to admit him after students who have been given a CO by sch A and have selected sch A have been considered, Student Z will be allocated sch B, where he has a guaranteed place, as long as he is eligible for an academic course that sch B offers.
3) He puts sch B as 1st choice, followed by sch A. As sch B is student Z's first choice and because sch B has given him a CO, student Z will be posted to sch B, as long as he is eligible for an academic course that sch B offers. He will not be allocated sch A, even if sch A has enough DSA places to admit him after students who have been given a CO by sch A and have selected sch A have been considered, as he has put sch B as his 1st choice.
