According to MOE guidlines we are supposed to know the outcome of the DSA application by 2 Sept whether CO/WL/reject. But maybe there is some delay this year.

Wonder if we can go to the post office to collect the letter if we don't receive today? Will they release it?

I doubt they will be able to search the normal mail in this manner. Just have to wait for tomorrow or Mon.......they are testing your patience a little  😉
The worst thing is that they no longer do deliveries on sat so have to be in agony for another 2 days 😞

DSA is for P6 students for entry to secondary schools of their choice. As your eldest is only K2, I suggest you relax and not be too worried about this. Reason being there are changes to DSA over the years, and for all you know, the rules may change. Also, what is sought after now may not be sought after by then.

What's more important is to ensure your kid enjoys school and enjoys whatever sports / music activities / CCA he is engaged in subsequently. If that works in his favor for DSA, it is a bonus. If you are gonna start working at using any of these for DSA, you might be disappointed (if it turns out otherwise) and the effort and stress may be more than what you and your kid are prepared for. Kids excel in whatever they are interested in, not forced to do it for the sake of achieving what parents want.

                  Suecat,
Relax and enjoy your weekend :imcool: ! Let's not pass on the worry and stress to our P6 kids - if there is CO, it is a bonus. If not, life goes on as usual and they work hard for PSLE! We parents will have to support them to work towards PSLE! :rahrah:

Hi nissin , u may like to read the above link to have an idea of dsa. In short, dsa is mainly for students who are academically ourtstanding or very good in sports with national awards or those who are in gep.. Those who apply dsa got to take GAT, tests and/or interviews as require by the secondary school which they apply dsa. 😄....thereafter...very important ...come to ksp forum to see who have received the dsa letter oleady.. 😂

Postman needs to relax on weekend, after being stressed by different groups (or maybe even same group) of P6 DSA parents stalking him on weekdays constantly asking for DSA letters........ :rotflmao:
