So u got to enjoy tea there. Seems like they do that every year, and there is certain timing they will serve.

Did your DS visit RI as well today? Their open house always have lots of games, experiments, trials to entice the kids.

Went to open house at HCI and RI. HCI's talk for parents was impressvie. All speakers (including the year 1 boy and his dad) were good. HCI seemed working very hard to improve their attractiveness and standing (against \"RI\"). They appeared to have a lot of drive.

Think RI has the advantage of long impressive track record so did not work so hard to attract DSA students.

Any parent with children in both HCI and RI currently care to shade some light and share about what he/she thinks about these 2 instituions? Has HCI improved much on its attractiveness in recent years (I'm not just talking about academic performance but other aspects which you may consider when deciding which 1 to go for)?

Can you please share what is your feel of both schools? Please PM me if you do not wish to share openly. I've been to last year's open house and HCI and RI's culture are quite different.

                        Thanks 😄
                        :thankyou:

speak to the teacher in charge of calligraphy at NYGH if you DD is consistency top 3 in national/inter-school competition, or international competition.

the teacher i/c used to scout around national competitions and speak directly to the top 3 trophy students to join NYGH - if they are girls, of course.

                        their coach is from CCSS.

I Run thru the List of CCA acceptable for DSA to NYGH ....
And Yes! Calligraphy can be used for DSA ....
                        Good Luck to U!
