MummySTay:
Hi Funx3, thanks. I guess DD was lucky n the little things we did to prepare for DSA helped. I helped her to spot questions for the interview n I believe one of them was crucial in helping her secure a spot. Why does this sound like cheating? Would gladly help if anyone is interested in the details.
Hi MummySTay, I've just PMed you. Thks! -

Snow Crystal:
oh, my DS belongs to this cohort.....ngbrdad:
Boy girl ratio is between 1:2 to 1:3, not 6:4sautille:
Ngbrdad- I was referring to above stats B:G 352:214 so approx 6:4 or 3:2. Perhaps your data is more updated :scratchhead: Thanks for correction. These are the figures I took down during the briefing for 2009 batch (the Dragon Year kids):
P3 cohort : 48000
Shortlisted for Round 2 : 4000
Offered to do GEP : 566 (214 girls, 352 boys)
Also recalled MOE mentioned that some 86% of GEP students were successful in DSA and 93% were admitted to IP schools. I don't know if the DSA/IP School admission figures were average or specific for a particular year though. -

Think it's 375 boys vs 175 girls.
How i wish the ration of the girls was higher. -

How i wish the ration of the girls was higher.[/quote]oh, ngbrdad, there are so many boys in your ds cohort! Must be tough for the boys. Could this be one of the reason why some of the boys who score 80% are on WL for RI. -
ngbrdad:
Ngbrdad your son has come this far already very well done. Hope and wish for you that your son's RI WL will be converted to confirmed seat ok! There will be RI CO boys eventually choosing HCI and NUSH so your DS RI WL got very high chance :boogie: :rahrah:
