mummy of 2:
Hi mummy of 2,
As for the Green Sheep I'm likely to go during weekend, as things are so hectic at work I can't take leave at all. Especially since i just took leave recently for a trip to Phuket. From your experience, I guess I will gate-crash. Bound to be long q for weekend show. I actually borrowed the book from lib. Maybe u can borrow it first and see if your son really wants to raed it over and over again
I have already bought tickets to Bear and Chicken Get Ready for Schhol. Next play I'm watching will be the\"Farmer, Fox, Bird and the Cookie\" later this month. Can't wait.
Yup, I would highly recommend that you 'gate crash' the performance.
Am contemplating to buy tickets 4 the 'Chicken and Bear get ready for sch' performance.
Will be watching Farmer, Fox, bird and Cookie too. Maybe we exchange reviews then.
Enjoy ....

hi aspring
Happy to know that you find this thread useful. You may want to let us know how old is your DS, so I can share relevant info. My DS1 is 4 years old. -
hi mummyloves
Already bought tickets for Bear and Chicken Get Ready for School some time back. Hope you can collate enough orders to enjoy the discount. If not, can use ticket stubs for "The Jungle Book" to get 15% discount, i think. -
can check what is the age range suitable to watch Bear and Chicken Get Ready for School? I canβt find the info. Thinking of buying tickets.

Hi blueblue,
According to pamphlet, recommended age is from 3 to 6 yrs old. They do allow kids younger to attend, its just that you have to buy the ticket.
Just to share - I started bringing my DS to plays from age 1. Now at 2+ yrs old, he can sit thru plays meant for such an age grp.
Hope this helps. -
Hi autumnbronze
Brought my kids to watch The Green Sheep on Sunday. Did not queue for the pass and was actually 5 mins late. Managed to sneak my kids in at the back where the musical instruments were located
I found it quite good, especially the sound effects, and there were lots for the kiddos to do afterwards. DH said it was boring, why so much to say abt sheep :? -

Hi Mummy of 2,
Good for you that you did not waste your time queuing. I have learnt a lesson from this as well.mummy of 2:
:rotflmao: Thats why I hardly ever ask my DH to stay/go for such shows/performances. He's hopeless (and I say that with loads of
DH said it was boring, why so much to say abt sheep :?
) when it comes to this.
Even for the Thomas the Train show just this past Sunday, when I asked him if he would mind taking DS (had only 2 tickets), he was like \"I'll be bored!!\". So in the end, we compromised, sent DS in with the helper and had a nice leisurely long lunch ... something we've not entitled to give ourselves for a long time already
BTW, thank god the organizers gave us replacement tickets cuz we were like almost 2 hrs late because of the Standard Chartered Run.... DH was really stressed out driving here and there only to get diverted time and again. Even the auxiliary police couldn't give proper directions :x
Hope you weren't in the same predicament.
