      hi autumnbronze

Act 3 is conducting a free trial session on 3 Jan 10. You may want to find out more. DS1 attended previously and he loved it. I did not sign him up for regular lessons as the place is not really convenient 9in other words, i'm too lazy). I strongly encourage you to try out the free trial. You may want to visit the website below for more details.

You are most welcome. I did think of signing DS1 and DD
for the free trial but am too lazy. Also while you are there may want to check out the other enrichment centres on the premises. I signed DS1 up for the free dance and art lesson. But will have to pay $10 material fee for the art class.

Ah yes, I do agree that whoa .... really frustrating to find parking there. Must park behind, can't remember the name of the place and walk down a steep flight of stairs. But that said, act 3 has been ard for eons, so guess it'll be a safe bet lah ...

btw, do you remember the name of the art enrichment centre??

            TIA πŸ˜„

Yes the parking is terrible, so I will take taxi or public transport to the place.

I quite like the Act 3 programme, and would probbaly have signed up for it, if not for the location. Anyway here's the website for the art & dance centre.

I brought my 1+year old to watch "Beautiful Sunday" performance at Esplanade just yesterday. It was a performance by a wind/brass band called "SparkWinds". They had many solos, so it was a great introduction to all the instruments highlighted, like the Saxophone, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet, etc, etc.

My toddler enjoyed it lots! He last just about the whole hour sitting watching it on my lap. Best part of all…it’s free! hehe. We went early (about 30mins!!!) and had fairly good seats.

So if you want to introduce your young ones to concerts, you can try the Beautiful Sunday concerts that are free and allow young ones in. They do caution that if your child cries or is disruptive, they should leave, which is fine too, since it’s FREE! But for us, we did know that our little one would be able to last bc he’s quite focussed and loves music.
