      Hi Pancake,

My girl had this scrapbook too, but no soft copies. Sobs! Or was it given during the meet the parents session? Yr boy is moving to 9 halifax next year?

babyRR, Anita yuen was from baby haven and yes, she’s very good. I like her style of managing the teachers, firm! She has all it takes to be a principal… So nice, there orientation. But none at 9 halifax? I wonder…

Seems like the aroozoo got a good team of leadership. My boy's teacher . Miss Anabelle will be going over as VP. Very dedicated and highly energized lady 😉

            Hi mummies out there!

I need help here! Anyone can give me advise or feedback on Chiltern House, Turf Club and Pat’s schoolhouse Lakeside?

            My dilemma here:
My boy turning 3 next yr has got a place in Chiltern house PM session. Accepted the place early in the year. Fees and deposit paid, interview with principle done, almost going to buy uniform d. Boy seem to like the place for the past 2 times he went down likely cos of the visible toys seen and the colourful classrooms.
However, last week we came to know that Pat’s schoolhouse arena have shifted to lakeside. We went down to have a look. The place doesn’t seem as colorful n hence our dear boy of cos don’t seem so excited. They do have vacancy for him in the 3rd Playgroup class that they are forming likely in feb/mar. I am impressed by what a K2 student learn there.
I’ve just given birth to no2, got no helper. Stay equal distance from both sch. Parents stay in jurong n don’t drive. I’m torn between starting kiddo in chiltern as planned or switch him over to Pat’s n forfeit the deposit.
Pats is logistically more feasible as hubby can fetch him to sch so I only need to ferry the 2 kids once. And grandparent can help fetch.
But am concern how good the teachers are since they are expanding from the small sch size in arena to a much bigger one in lakeside.
Shd I continue in chiltern, give up chiltern n go Pat’s in Jan joining existing class or go chiltern first for 1-2 mth serve notice n go Pat’s when the 3rd class is form?
Advise pls as I got limited time to decide.

I think Chiltern is not bad too. If you have already paid the deposit, I think maybe staying with Chiltern would be better? Not so much of heart pain?

Mummyjoy, I’m a mother of 2 myself. And personally I think it’s useful to have e full day flexibility when no. 2 comes along. My boy was at half day school at Chiltern house for a while. I’m happy with the school n teachers etc, but bec it’s only 3hrs, shuttling back n forth can b a bit hectic especially when there’s a infant at home. I appreciate it’s a lot of heartache to forgo e registration fee. And I think Chiltern is a gd school too (base on my boy’s experience), but full day gives u more flex… So I guess it boils down to e support u have to determine if e flex is worthwhile or of any value. All e best!

                    Hi Aroozoo’s mummies,

From what i read, Aroozoo’s principal is Ms Anita from baby Haven Halifax and VP is Ms Annabelle from Pat’s Lim Ah Pin?

I drop by the school recently, notice that its still far from ready.
There are lots of construction workers…no sign of any teachers.
Are the teachers new or transferee from other branches?
Btw, are the classrooms air conditioned?

                    Thanks.

                      The classrooms are air conditioned.

It’s worrying to hear that structure is not yet ready when orientation is next wed.

                        Hi babyRR

Are you going for the orientation on 28 dec?
Can update on the teachers and status of the school? Thanks.
Btw yr kid is in which level?
If I join, my kid will be in nursery next year.

I also notice that if u are driving, u need to turn a big round to get to aroozoo ave, not sure if they allow us to pick from the side. If not, hope the traffic is ok in the morn.
