Thanks Pebblez.
I plan to delay giving them the advance fee for next year even though the deadline is today.
Once i put in, it will be harder to withdraw.
And if i intend to withdraw, gotto do it before their special timeline. Will be dropping by another 2 childcare near my area to assess before i decide if i want to cont with pat’s. -
Dear mummies,
As I am doing my shortlisting of alternative childcare, I came across this \"Spark Accredidation\".
Any idea what is that? \"Spark\" means good childcare??
Noted that 3 of the pat's are accredidated with this and the range of childcare with Spark accredition is wide.
Includes mainstreams preschools like PCF, my first skool to famous ones like St James, kinderland and even high tier ones like odysessy and eton house!!

Hi I’m thinking of transferring my daughter into lim ah pin for K1. Appreciate any feedback about the teachers, school, curriculum and principal. In particular, What is the quality of the teachers, how experienced are they, what are the enrichment classes, are they well conducted? Any areas of concern? How are the students upon graduation? Are they well prepared for P1?

Hv u called them to check for vacancy? The last I checked, they told me all levels full, with long long wait list. For my dd's level, even wait list is closed. -

Hi, just came across this forum, my son and daughter are graduates from pat lim ah pin, I could say even though there are negative comments, overall I am satisfied with the school. The teachers there are dedicated and they do really love kids. The programmes there are comprehensive and valuable (I visited other kindergardens, they taught kids computer, internet, email which i think is nonsense, just kill time). Kids there are having a lot of outdoor activities, content of their lessons are not boring, teachers do spend a lot of time prepare for the lesson......, my children looked forward to school everyday. Highlight is the graduation event, really impressed. The fee is expensive, however you no need to go for other tuition class after school and could have peace of mind that your child is in good hand. My son's former English teacher there is graduates from NUS majored in Math, I think she is still there teaching. Now my son is P6 this year, good at math, obtained Singapore Math Olympiad Gold award. My daughter is P4 GEP class, good at languages (very good English and Chinese teachers in Pats). I won't say all of these because of they were in pats from nursery to K2, but it did make difference in the long run. My daughter GEP classmates, quite a number of them are from pats family. Hope this helps you make your decision. PM me if you need more infor. -
Hi paper tree, I have Pm you. Thanks!

Dear papertree,
Thanks for your input...Its a great encouragement to know that graduates from Pat's are performing well in primary school.
After all, that is what all of us wants.
Guess I will close one eye...part with the $$$...
:moneyflies:
And stay put with Pat's....

Wow, the pats management should pay me for such a good endorsement about them. Just joking. No regret for all the money spent there, worth every cents. My dc never say how much they love pats, but they still play graduation song of pats very often in my car. Deep in their heart, i know they enjoyed everyday there. It justifies why the waiting list is so long nowadays.Dear papertree,

Hi Papertree,
Sign… unfortunately ‘imho’, some things have changed over the last 6 years I feel when Miss Patricia Koh herself helms the school before it went over to KU. I still like Pat’s for its academic approach but centers vary far and wide these days. -

Yes. You are right. So many changes there, however i never catch up. Just share my encounters many years ago. For lim ah pin, some of my DS teachers are still there. I should say they are really wonderful.Hi Papertree,
