Pat's Schoolhouse

That’s quite ridiculous!! At 6 months old already waitlisted? They told me the new branch will only have full day session as that is the reason why they look for a new location to accomodate the request.
Well I guess it is a risk I have to take. No point thinking so much about the future. I am struggling here because I also have a confirm space at Eton House Newton. If I take up PSH, my registration fee at Eton will be forfeited. It is not a small amount. Heartache.
I signed up for Eton because I didnt know about the new location opening up at PSH. When they call me, I already paid my deposit at Eton. -

Sorry we are not at LAP. I didn’t realise the proportion of full day kids is so high in other branches.

tough decision… given the deposit u made… and especially so when both schools have their strong reputation… -
Sher
How about checking with both schools on the profile of the teachers to be assigned to your kid’s class? It’s better to go with the school that will assign an experienced teacher to your kid. But of course, you should expect them not to commit to giving you a firm answer so you must find a way to get more information indirectly. -
Hi, anyone with kids at Raffles Pat’s Schoolhouse???

TiggerMummy:
Hi Tiggermummy,Running out of childcare I can put my son in. Previously almost confirm on Arts Kidz but because of the timing, now I have to widen my area even further as there isn't any childcare near Tiong Bahru which we both like.

Does anyone know if the price of the fees are the same for all locations? I think Etonhouse has different pricing for different locations.
Finding a childcare that we both feel comfortable with and nearby is so so difficult and tiring.
Not all the fees are the same in Pat's/
U may wish to check from the mcys website.
For eg, Pat's Raffles (beach road) has a higher fees. Their full day is $1,712

As for the bus fare, 1 way is $170.
2 way should be cheaper. -
Hi Sher, so have you made your decision regarding Etonhouse Newton versus Pat’s Aroozoo?
I’m in the exact same predicament as you! Except I have it x2… hence super heartache abt having to forfeit the registration fee if I choose. I personally prefer Pat’s curriculum to Etonhouse, especially the enrichment they have for nursery class. But I like the 1:4 ratio that Eton has for the PN class. So it’s a real dilemma for me.
Which building is the Aroozoo location exactly? I just got their email about that new branch and hasnt had chance to recee it. Is it where they used to have prawn fishing? -
I am in great disappointment when I see margerine and donut…ect were offer to my son. How can a premium child care center offer food that contain transfat to children? I guess the management are generally overlooking at the food that offer to the children. And this is one of the main reason I withdraw him from extended day program.

One morning, I saw the breakfast which they served and it was sandwiches made with margarine + jam… The jam was luminous pink!! It was so awful my child refused to eat it. And the chocolate milk which they gave the children… I poured out a cup for her and was so shocked when it came out soo watery. It looks like the muddy water which I used to play in the kampung, only that it’s more watery?! It only costs a few cents more to buy a better brand of milk and even australian organic milk ($2.70 per carton if you buy from NTUC)… I don’t know why they can increase the full day fee to $1700+ but not afford to buy decent quality food for the children… Quite disappointing…
