Bees gave up their pursuit - The answer can be found some lines up ‘…pursue the victim…’
i put durable -
beauty queen:
Answer is won and not fetch. My DS ask his friend (her aunt english teacher and got see the paper)and it is won.
it should be fetched, cos the word underlined was \"earned\" -
IsaacTham:
Math is easy. But there are many tricky qns that require you to keep a cool head and not be careless. If you're a consistent 100-er like me, just check, check and check.
English was very easy. 2 qns to ask though. sturdy = steady, secure or durable? I put secure but many of my friends put durable? My oxford dictionary does not have much difference.
For the cloze passage on bees, one qn goes like this:
An expert on bees said that bees give up on their _ before going back to their hives.
I put attackS. my reason for plural is that hiveS is plural and cannot be bees from many hives attack one person right? But I heard that a better answer is chase. Is my answer correct?
Thanks!
attack is also correct and persuit is also correct. Both are in the passage. Is it vision blured hard to doge bee attacks or eyesight blured hard to dodge attack? -
beauty queen:
ideally. My opinion on the paper: was quite easy with a few challenging questions.
Nutritional value.obsession:
Yeah...its ideally..
By the way, do u remember the sentence for Nutritional? I think i wrote Nutritious..I think the qt was like this
-------- food..(has 2 be nutritious food...Was the qt ---------- value? then i must b nutritional value..I'm confused..
can u remember the correct qt?
What's the word after ideal/ideally?
take the lady as d and take the man as a
Answer for comprehension the second last one
why did D misjudge A wrongly explain fully etc etc
-DS of beauty queen
Thought it is how she misjudged and not why. Answer would be different for both cases.
If it is how, my answer would have been something similiar to this:
d thought that a had a grudge against her as she was his competitor and that he would gloat over her misfortune. however, a was actually kind-hearted and when d asked to try of of his coconuts, he graciously gave her the largest one. -
Thks for ur advice IsaacTham. Gd luck for math PSLE candidates!
