Love the PSLE, it is the students' best opportunity to get into the best sec schools and en route to university.

Yes, you are absolutely right especially with this IP thingy! In a way, the results of PSLE can affect one's future. It is quite scary!
just received one sms message from student's mum;
\"She scored 261. Thanks for all your patience and efforts to coach her. She is 2nd in school.\"
Another student gets 263, with 3A* in E/M/S, she is 9th in school. -
My son got 195 points. He got B C B. He is exempted from mother tongue. It may not be a very good mark for some of you but I am extremely proud of him. He got a chance to chose NA or Exp. Why am I proud of him? Because he has a learning difficulty and still managed to do this well. :rahrah: I know the amount of anixiety he was under before the exams. But he still made me proud.
I am sure he will be model to other children with learning difficulties. We have decided to opt for NA in a school with good special needs support. All the best all 2010 students you have done your best. -

Hi everyone, am a very happy mum…my son got 266. The top in his school is 276 and he is fifth in the school. He was keeping his fingers crossed that he would be able to go to RI. Now, I think his dream will be fulfilled. He got 3A* and an A. Thanks to everyone on this Forum for being such a wealth of information.

Hi all
just want to take this opportunity to thank all who had ever advised me when i was helping my ds to prepare for the exams.
He got 255 +2 for HC. I was happy for him cause he should be able to get into catholic high…
now, qtn is, should he try for HCI , cut off was 257 last year. I was hoping that he can get into IP school but if he just makes it, will it be too tough for him? in other words, will he be a small fish in a v big pond?
also considering Victoria. but the down side is it is a bit far from my place at Toa Payoh. any advice on how should i place the schools in the school selection form?
tks -

Expecting cut off points for most schools to drop a bit because this year's top score is lower. So shd try for HCI. Whether can cope or not, depends on how he studies in secondary school. Good luck !Hi all
