Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts - Kinder Art class
-
Hi everybody, kindly accept my sincere apologies if I should not be posting this here. However, I have some brand new unused art materials that we bought for my son for the NAFA Junior Art Class earlier this year. However, as we had other commitments, we did not start him on the Junior Art class at all, so all the art materials are brand new and unused. Willing to sell cheap to anybody who's child will be attending Junior Art next year, or anybody who is keen to purchase the whole lot.
Kindly email me at [email protected] or sms me at 96831669.
Thanks,
Jan -

Any other positive or negative on NAFA? Need to decide either go NAFA or those commerical art school like KidsZone or Kids Art!
You may want to take a look at CAVA - Creative Atelier of the Visual Arts. I like the school's Visual Arts Educational Philosophy and low teacher:student ratio -
sleepy:
I like the exposure to a good variety of medium eg. batik, craft work
But I find Nafa lacking in terms of drawing technique so my kids attend drawing classes with another teacher during school holiday
Anyway, Nafa fees are reasonable so okay for me
Planning to put both my kids with NAFA next year where Kinder Art & Junior Art. Hopefully can get the timeslot for both of them at the same time.
That's why some parents need to queue at 6am
Hi, I agree that they dun really emphasis on the drawing techniques but the kids r also exposed to craftwork which I like. However, sadly, we are now seriously considering to w/draw my girl from their arts class(alr paid the fees actually) due to her forthcoming other Nafa classes... If so, wld hv to look for alternative art school for her liao, wasted the time we que-d up for her slot -

Clashed with Nafa music?
Public registration still a few days away. Ask them whether can change timing. This is a valid reason if timing clashes with other Nafa class. -
Think most likely I would give up to take NAFA for my 2 kids. I would be trying for Sunday slot which mean 2 public holidays would kanna lugi.

Yalor, sleepy... actually not really clash as in terms of time/day, but the idea of hving to bring her to nafa classes(though diffnt campus) on diffnt days, I feel it'd be tiring...mum05:

She started arts at Nafa Kindy on Sat this year and we had changed it to Fri late aftn from 2nd semester. Though her NM course wld be on Sundays but the only time slot(they gave us a choice of 3) we cld take up on Sun wld be 5:45pm which I find wld be too late/tiring for her/us. The earlier timing wld clash with her practical(which are to be held at teacher's premise) and theory classes... : ( -

That was what happened to us. Literally camp at Nafa the entire weekends - theory, practical, arts, drama :faint:Yalor, sleepy... actually not really clash as in terms of time/day, but the idea of hving to bring her to nafa classes(though diffnt campus) on diffnt days, I feel it'd be tiring...

any idea how are the teachers at east coast compared to the ones at bencoolen? i stay near east coast so makes more sense to go there but don’t mind going to bencoolen if the teachers there are better.
