Hello! I would like to ask around for advice regarding this combination in JC

          H2 Chemistry, H2 Geography, H2 Math and H1 Econs

Are there any Jcs that accept this combi? In addition, I would also like to ask if a hybrid combi is seen as a science stream or art stream?

          Thank you in advance!

Can't advise you on which JCs, but it seems to me like some/most should. But I don't really know.
          Hybrid combos are considered \"science\".

Most JCs are flexible with their combi these days and I believe most of them should offer that. My understanding is that hybrid combi can be applicable to both Science or Arts. For instance, if one chooses 3H2 and 1H1 combi with 2 sci subjects as H2, it's a sci hyrid combi. Alternatively, if he chooses 2 arts subjects as H2, it's an arts combi.
E.g. of sci hybrid combi: H2 Math /H2 Chemistry /H2 Geog /H1 Econs (2H2 sci)
          E.g. of arts hybrid combi: H2 Geog/ H2 Econs/ H2 Chemistry/ H1 Math (2H2 arts)

Does anybody knows where I can get the A level performance of the JCs ? Has anybody done a comparison with the different JC performance ?

Some of the JCs publish their results on their websites. But different JCs publish different sets of results so it's very difficult to compare performance.

Yes, agreed. Do not be confused and jumped to conclusion that JC X has definitely outdone JC Y since no JC will be displaying its full set of stats to anyone, including its own pupils.

I see what you mean that a hybrid combo can be either Arts or Science if it's a 3H2/1H1 combo. I was thinking of a 4H2 combo. In that case, I think JCs regard that a \"Science\".

                Hi,

Just want to check, will they allow a H2 Chem, H2 Econ, H2 Lit and H1 Math hybrid combination be accepted? Any views anyone. Thanks.

Some JCs are more flexible than others in subject combos. It's best to check with the JC itself.

                    Dear all,

L1R5 results have just been released and I am looking for a JC for my son (raw score is 9 and he doesn’t get any bonus point). One of the key criteria is boarding facilities as he is in Singapore alone. Does anyone know if any of those JCs (Temasek, Eunoia, Anderson, St Joseph’s, St Andrew’s, etc) have the hostel? Many thanks

For those looking at hybrid combi, do check with the school whether such combi is available and whether it is under arts or science. It is a hassle (and no guarantee) to do a transfer after you have gotten into the JC, especially if the COP for arts and science is different
