O-level results just came out yesterday (12 Jan 22).

Regarding JC choice, for Science stream, what is your assessment of

-Nanyang JC
- Victoria JC
- National JC ?

My DD scored a net score of 4. In terms of Science stream curriculum, could any one advise if RI and NYJC are both equally good? Thanks.

Did she get ESIS? If she did, the answer is clear, notwithstanding other factors such as proximity, friends, culture, etc.

Yes, she is awarded ESIS. She is inclined for RI because of RI's facilities and resources. But her best friend intends to opt for NYJC, that causes her to sway her decision.

RI Sc cop for the previous batch is 4. So if I were her, I would put RI first choice.

ESIS is tenable for independent schools only so between the 2 would be applicable for HCI and not NYJC

Thanks for sharing , but my DD prefer to just go with A level , first choice HCI . What about chances to secure a place in HCI?
