For DHS, the promo criteria are as follows :
- 2 H2 passes plus GP or
- 1 H2 pass, 2 H2 sub pass plus GP or
- 1 H2 pass, 1 H2 sub pass, 1 H1 pass plus GP -
angwc:
Yes....the criteria to offer H3 Maths in my gal's sch is at least an A in H2 Maths...
So one must ensure that the H2s and H1s are 100% sure A before considering H3.
For other subjs, at least a B for the relevant H2 Subj...
N subject to Teachers' recommendations.... -

For RJC,
2 H2 passes OR 1 H2 pass+2H1 passes
AND
GP/KI pass (GP and KI cannot count as any of the passes in the first criteria. So e.g. KI students have to pass H2KI and two other H2 subjects) -
Just wondering, does any one know if the actual number of CIP hours accumulated in J1 & 2 are recorded in JC CCA records or will it only be a qualitative report e.g. X tutored less privileged children from the ABC Children's Home from 2013-2014? Thanks in advance.:)

Not sure where to pose this question but ds wants to know - for MS O level students entering IP JCs, will they be at a disadvantage when they enter in Feb? I am assuming that they will enter in Feb after obtaining their O level results in Jan.
Will they be able to catch up with existing IP students? -

For chemistry, dd's jc ip classmates seem to have learn some stuff in their Secondary sch. But not too difficult to catch up. Though the ip students started school a few weeks earlier, not much academic stuff went on. More of cca recruitment, subject combi talks etc.Not sure where to pose this question but ds wants to know - for MS O level students entering IP JCs, will they be at a disadvantage when they enter in Feb? yeah, my JC said that they weren't allowed to start lessons before the O level kids entered, so there were a few lectures but they were either introductory lectures or revision lectures (for those who didn't score well in Year 4). No new content until the O level kids joined.
