Yes there is PE. You can go without CCA but then there won't be much to write in your testimonial/T3A. No bonus pt but outstanding cca can be used for discretionary admission into uni (rep singapore) and for those courses that req interview eg law/med/den they will look at your cca records also as one differentiating factor.May I ask a silly question but hope someone can assist to ans:--
Is there so call PE lesson in JC and must every student participate in CCA so as to make it compulsory? Is CCA a bonus point to entry in Uni? -

This thread is really difficult to locate. Hoping the moderators can sticky it in the tertiary/A level forum.
How was orientation for your kids? My dd thoroughly enjoyed herself. Real schoolβs starting now, with lectures underway. -

2) Econs
3) English Language & Lingustic
4) Lit
In hindsight, this is best that could have happen to her, though she was keen to go ACJC/NYJC. -
DD is settling well into new school. i was initially apprehensive if she, a jae student, could fit well into a IP jc. Glad she enjoyed her orientation. Even had to remind her to come back earlier each night. She likes her new class too.

I think it's good too, getting the subject combination you want vs getting into another JC where you can't do your choice of subject combi.

Those were late nights at Orientation, weren't they?
What's the JAE/RP mix like in your dd's class?
-
jtoh:
Yes Jtoh. ACJC needs A1 to take Lit at H2 level... Similarly ELL would have some criteria in NYJC as well.

Her class ratio is about 4:17. Heard some classes hv more jae than rp. Your dd taking ki? Are there many taking ki?
