Anyone try ICR @ Tiong Bahru branch? Any reviews?

Can anyone advise how much are the course fees?

Dear parents, any review for Bedok Point branch? Or any referral code?
Thank you. -
My daughter attended ICR since 5 and about to complete the ICR level 6 by term 1 next year (K2). However, I notice she struggles with comprehension especially the last two questions (more related to what do you think) when I helped her in the assigned homework. The comprehension work done in the class seems to be fine on surface. There are a lot of areas not covered during class such as matching, sentence writing, word unscramble, sound search. Plus there is no longer sentence writing in the workbook after spelling test vs in the past after a change of teacher. May I check with parents is this common? The teacher just gave me a brief update on my daughter’s progress (said she needs to practice to write in full sentence) and does not seem to be interested to provide more detail.

Hi All…I am wondering what is the right age to enrol the kid for the I CAN Read level 1 to 6 programme. My DD is K1 this year and is 4 years 2 months. I heard from my friend, at K1 the programme might be tough for the kid and she might stay longer in the pre reading programme. My DD is just learning to blend words. Would k2 be a more appropriate age to join the I CAN Read Level 1 to 6 programme?

It is less relevant to age.If you kid can recognize the sound for each alphabet very well, then he/she would progress to reading program level 1 soon. My girl starts at 4Y6M at pre-reading level 3 and promoted to reading level 1 very quickly within 2 months. It takes 12M to complete the level 6. If your kid progress well, he/she should be able to read independently before 6 year old. Personally I think the material needs a lot of improvement though the program is quite effective to teach kid to read. Once the kid can read fluently, then it is time to switch. I find the curriculum is very unbalanced and the teacher quality varies. -
Hi parents,
Any review to share for ICR @ AMK branch?
