Does it mean for children going for IP or NUSH, taking the 3rd lang does not help academically?

        3rd Lang?

Another joke. Giving students to opt to 3rd lang. Every end of the term, school will ask students who want to drop out, fill up the form.
In the beginning of sec 1, wah so impressive with so many classes (let’s say 6 classes for Jap). End of the year left with 3 classes. By end of Y2, think only 1 class left.

No, actually still quite a lot of classes left in year 2, just class size shrunk a little. There are still people who take 3rd lang seriously, please don't say it's a joke. It does help academically for some people. Even if it doesn't, it's an opportunity to learn something new.

          I'm continuing year 3, FYI.

How does MOE engage these teachers teaching 3rd lang? some are real French gentleman. Is this person a real teacher back in France? dressed up like a gym builder and behaves like a gay. His class only left with 50% students.

It's up to people how they dress. Are you saying gays cannot be teachers? They don't have to necessarily be a teacher in France, they can be people who studied French for a long time. My teachers are Singaporean who studied Jap in uni or went to Japan uni.

How do you know the students quit because of the way he behaves? Maybe they just have no more interest.

The 2 point deduction at O levels for third lang only applies to Chinese, Malay or Arabic taken as a third lang.
Is the malay same as malay special program? Thanks
