      LCKUA2008:
Currently im considering a few good school but in normal,eg Bukit Panjang Govt High,Swiss Cottage,ACS(hear fr others if non-affli school no eligible to apply :? )....

      Kindly advise :thankyou:
I don't hv much comment on Bt Panjang Govt High or Swiss Cottage other than the few pupils I see on the streets or my neighbourhood seems pleasantly behaved.

I have this mentality that the less pupils seen loitering around shopping malls the better the sch is or the more pupils seen in the library studying the better the sch is. May not be true but it's just my old sch of thoughts.

        Hi,

Need some advise for secondary school in West.
My son PSLE score was 214 and I'm thinking of choosing :-

Choices in order Last year minimum aggregate score
        1. Choa Chu Kang 217
        2. West Spring 223
        3. Westwood 211
        4. Zhenghua 210
        5. Dunearn 204
        6. Greenridge 206

I know my 1st and 2nd choices are risky but I'm more concern on my 3rd and 4th choices order. Expected him to get the 3rd or 4th choices.

just my personal opinion, its better to put westwood and Zhenghua as ur 1st and 2nd. Its safer, otherwise your 1st choice will be wasted.
Can anyone assist me in my 3rd and 4th choices order?
I went to both school open house today, and was please with Zhenghua, looks more lively in the school if compare to Westwood as Westwood did not shows a lot.
Is there any other secondary school to suggest to me.
I'm staying in Chua Chu Kang.

Appreciate any advices, comments and recommendation.

Depends on you want 'All Girls' school or 'Mixed' . Nan Hua high is SAP school also. I prefer all 'girls' school & i am going to miss Cresenct , so TKGS will be the choice

We stay in West too. My DD score 244+2(HCL). Very trouble now as to put which the 1st choice - Nan Hua High or Crescent Girl. NHH is rich in Chinese culture so pupils r well behaved to certain extent. Crescent Girl pupils r lively and most of them I met were well communicated. can share yr tots pls… (very trouble now)

My girl scored a point lower than your child. Can share with me your choices? My girl hated to tie pleats at NHH. :?:
