CAT High O, 2nd choice. Friend suggest me to appeal...[/quote]According to CHS, O level & IP are the same for Sec 1 & 2. Those who do well in O level will be transferred to IPin Sec 3. Whereas, those who did not do well in IP will be transferred to O level in Sec 3.

252 cannot make d cut for dis yr's CHS IP.
2 options IF he(not d parents hor) really wants CHS:
1. Appeal with d full works - there's still a chance at 3 points off with all d movement in d schools, or
2. CHS's pioneer batch only starts IP in 2015. As I understand it fr sch's inputs as of now, there is NO differentiation in 'O' n IP syllabus in CHS, maybe only on pace of teaching instructions.
Ur son can still go on IP track in 2015 if he does well in S1 & 2.

Chs ip cop is at 252.. So on par.... The good part about ip is the thru train to a level....Some will consider the chs/scgs/sngs new jc to be a negative point, thus taking o level allows them to enjoy the best of chs as well as allow them the opportunity to enter a more eastablished jc for a level.

My take is the new jc intake are all coming in from the 3 schools at ip cop of 252 and above.... Thus it will not be that bad... And moe will throw in resources to ensure the jc is in good hands as all 3 feeder schools are pretty high profile schools....

My neighbor's son got 250 + 2 and was accepted to CHS IP. Perhaps you have a good chance if you appeal.[/quote]hope it is not too late.252 include HMT.
