oh...rv took in girls too. my child's classmate from softball mentioned 2 'pro' girls just joined them for training.

Well, I wrote in thus they responsed to my email.

For the rest, I have no idea. But like what was mentioned by someone in this forum, GEP do have advantage since some who scored lower than my DS was given a place during the appeal (e.g. 260)...

Welcome to HCI. my DS is one of them involved in organizing the Orientation program. The seniors have put in alot of effort to make sure the orientation camp is a fun and enjoyable one. Cheers!

the school website says result known by 29 Dec ..... unless the school says no more....but how come some 263 were in ? because of different performance in GAT ?

Believe those were from the GEPs...understood that some KSP here with DS scoring 260 but likely from GEP also managed to secured a place. In any case, let's give thanks and encourage our kid to do whatever best they can....加油。

HCI is a good school. I'm sure your son and his friend will enjoy themselves there.

Fully agree...I am actually from a Chinese school myself and during my time, 华侨中学was listed first in my list of 12 choices....

Of course I ended up in another 华校。When we submitted for appeal, it was not really because one school is better than the other. Rather, because (1) distance; and (2) my DS understood from statistics showing RI producing more students into certain faculty with the Uni...that's why we decided to try for RI.

Afterall, his result of 262 do qualifies him to submit for an appeal....try try lah..

Well, with this appeal matter behind us now, we now have to make sure we are ready both for the orientation and school lesson proper...hahah...never buy any uniform and books yet...

My ds had appealed to rvh. Has anyone there received any news from that school yet. Waited over Xmas and New Year is coming…very stress. No news, no books and no uniform.

Same here! Ds waiting for appeal results to hci, also no uniform, no news, no books! V tempted to call the school to ask to end the agony but am also afraid of hearing bad news
