I find Chung Cheng (Main) website info very limited and brief. Find their website not very updated. Their facebook page last post is June 21 2014 :slapshead: ...May I know if there's other link to connect parents to see all their school notifications calender of events etc with pw in the later stage?

Their Yishun website is much better! But too bad the info is not applicable to Main.

      Hi Monolisa,

I concur. I was about to ask for advice on where to obtain overview information about the activities that are going on for CCHM when I saw this post of yours.

Experienced mums and dads, is there any place where we can download the circulars online or is there a school calendar that provides an overview of all the activities that will take place in CCHM for the year? 🤷

      Thanks in advance.

      Cheers

I believe the CCHM wbsite by purpose is catering more toward the general public to have a good but brief overview of the school. Hence I am actually pretty okay with it.

And pertaining to sch activities and calendar, yes last year when my DC first join the school, I was initially a little concern but subsequently, discover that each kid is given a log in password which they can log in for their home works and also to get information from the school or their form teacher if they wish to disseminate news/information to them. They are indeed well inform.....not to worry.

And school do keep parents posted periodically on important info and announcement thru' SMS too.

Plus factually the sch parents support is one very helpful bunch as well.

I told ds what simpledad says n he agrees.

One thing I like best is the frequent sms postings from school n teachers so I am kept aware of what is happening as sometimes DS forgets to tell me.

Btw, forgot to mention, the portal that the students log is CCHM Ask & Learn and my DC mention that the teachers also constantly keep the students updated with messages via iFin on their mobile phones too.

Does anyone know when is the selection/trial dates for CCA? I know this is being mentioned during the Sec 1 orientation in passing, but my son doesn’t have a chance to jot down the dates.

Also will CCHMS be setting up any CCA booths to provide more information on the CCA to Sec 1 students? Shouldn’t more information on the CCA be provided to the students before any of the CCA selection/trials take place?

                  Thanks to advise.

I asked my dd this morning and she said it's this Fri & next Wed for the CCA trial. However I didnt asked in details like whether it's during or after school curriculum and the date of selection submission  .

Sorry cant provide much....but I think and hope that details to be out today or tomorrow to prepare the kids.

                        Hi all,

Is there a CCA overall schedule for parents/students to reference? It is tough to decide on which Cca to opt without having any information on the training schedules and commitment.

If you do know the training schedule for Chinese Orchestra, Concert Band and Basketball, can you please share with me? Thanks.

                        Cheers
