Augmum, what kind of papaya do you use to boil chicken soup? Just normal ripe ones, or it must be slightly ripe, and do we need to boil long because if too long, the papaya will disintegrate right?

happy mama, use those which are not too ripe ones.
fried the chicken with some slices of ginger till frangance, then throw in the papaya to boil. 😄

Ok will try it. Thanks so much, Augmum.
u're welcome, sweet refreshing soup, believe yr gal will like it. 😄

Augmum, why do you need to prepare this soup for your DD? :? :? She's not lactating nor breastfeeding, so no need to have the excess milk now what. :? :?

Haha, yes. Sorry la, I didn't know it's for that purpose. 😉 😉
it's alright, no offence at all.

ya, maid yr 2 boys very 贴心, usually boys are not so thoughtful as girls.

:thankyou: Like I said, it all boils down to my 'investment' over the years and that's why you see I do not believe in entrusting my boys' upbringing to a maid. It's too important to 'outsouce' that aspect to a maid. 😐

never entrust to my maid, she only needed to do the housechores. 😉

All the talk about payaya and fish soup is making me . Feel like getting some unripe papayas and fish bones from the market, but no, don't get me wrong, I am not lactating nor do I need bigger breasts! Just a sudden crave for this soup after all that talk! It's basically a very pleasant soup.

Now must wait till the market is open again. It's closed for spring cleaning these two days.

for me, i'll deep-fried all fish bones and heads, then throw in to make a soup,
can be juz fishhead soup with veg
                      or boil with raw peanuts.

Haha, we are no friends of fish head. Just last night, we were at one of the prata shops at Jalan Kayu and another family next to our table was tucking into fish head curry and my boys were asking me, what's so nice about fish head curry? I told them, 'beats me'! 😛
