I use pork bone and dried scallop for the soup base.

Scrape out the seed of sharkfin melon, peel the skin. Put it to boil till it becomes very very soft.
Use a stirrer to stir and the flesh of the melon will come off and looks like sharkfin.
I add wolfberry to the soup.
            I use a slow cooker.

Ta da, the soup is ready πŸ™‚
Any tip on how to scrape out the flesh easily? There are just too many seeds?

              Hi Poonie,

Before you boil the melon, you have to remove the skin and scrape out the seeds.

That way, when it is boiled, you just need to keep stirring and the β€˜sharkfin’ will surface πŸ™‚

                  Hi Andaiz,

My mom’s method and it works.

Do remember to overturn the stomach to the other side. Pour a bottle of coke and soak the stomach for half an hour.

Add salt and rub the stomach till the stomach is not sticky. Rinse with water and the stomach is clean πŸ™‚
