        janet88:
        thank you for the confirmation.

was thinking, life in poly (tertiary) is already so hectic...why is there is a need for CCA?
There are CCAs in universities as well. CCAs in tertiary institutions are probably more diverse than those available in JC / Sec schools. To quote schweppes comments earlier, \"CCA does give a more balanced and holistic edu life. For some students, it gives them a sense of belonging doing something they enjoy with like-minded friends.\"

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

CCA is important if one wants to apply scholarship πŸ™‚ . Tertiary has more interesting CCA .

it’s entirely up to him. he has to learn to manage his time especially in poly.

this year’s batch of O level students will be challenging as it’s the dragon year kids. he really has to work very hard.

Is your DS a more 'academic' or more 'hands-on' student? Where does his interest lies in?

How is his academic performance todate?

If you can provide more info, then it's easier to see which route is more suitable for him.

Hi all, not sure if there's already a chat on this. (Polytechnic Early Admission Exercise). If yes, kindly direct me there. :salute: If not, can we use this platform to chat about everything on this? πŸ˜„
