hi all! thanks for the congrats!
i'm back but usually only have time to scan through very quickly while feeding baby. her night feed schedule is really horrible (like non-stop) until i become a zombie so our major project now is to tweak her schedule until her night personality resembles her daytime one.
@thebusybee and foreverj: how to increase chances of getting girl or boy? i dug up the URL of an old thread for you. rather long but the speculations and a helpful link can be found in the beginning pages.

@qms: dd2's weight is about 3.2kg. people kept telling me that subsequent ones will be bigger but dd2 turned out to be smaller. however labour was really halved. thank gdness for that!
@EN: atm, dd2 looks like dd1 when she was a baby, except with more hair. we even dug out the photo albums to show dd1.
@Muffins: dd2 has a Jap name.

Welcome back, our new mummy! Those first few months I don't miss... to me, the most fun kids can be are between 18mo - 6 years old

This is usually the case for newborns. All newborns are jetlagged!
I always consoled myself - things would only get better. So, here's to you, schellen: Things will only get better. :rahrah:
Are you breastfeeding? -

I thought that's when the terrible twos set in?

yes, i am, cos i want to save money, give her and myself the best and also i'm lazy. just have to tahan the first few mths. dd1 was breastfed for 3 mths till i fell really sick and had to take antibiotics. hopefully, i can feed dd2 till 6 mths, with minor supplements of formula and expressed milk much later. -

Haha. I breast feed because I'm too lazy to sterlize the bottles. No need to bring milk bottles, milk powder when going out. Just bring the mummy along will do. It's the best way for mummy to lose weight too. Not to mention safe money and the best bonding time ever. Try to prolong the breast feeding, Schellen. Hope you have a good health to continue breast feeding for 2 years.

:congrats:
Enjoy your new baby.
