      Jann Phonics:
I heard the same from other students and parent on the pile of work given.

My DS is contemplating btw Anderson and Catholic High. He scored 251 but prefers Co-ed school as he worries that his temper may trigger easily since it is all-boys environment. Other than that, Catholic High has many favourable factors.

      Any advise?
It depends on how impt it is to be co-ed... if it were up to me, Cat High first choice. Many benefits for your DS and grandsons too. šŸ˜‚

Catholic High is a wiser choice.

Your son choose IP or OP, if select Catholic High ?

if choose IP : straight-away go Eunoia JC in Year 5, if can clear Year 4 Promotional exam

if choose OP : at end of Sec 2, if do well, can still choose IP starting Year 3.

        OP : O-level program
        IP : Integrated program

Besides factoring in daily travelling distance to and fro every morning, do consider also what Cca your son has in mind, and are they found in which school ? Catholic High, being a Full school, your future grand-son can join the primary school, under Phase 2A1 several years' later (assuming Phase 2A1 still exists, then) .

He is opting for O levels and only decide after that depending on how well he cope with his studies and how good his results are. Also becoz, we are keeping the option on polytechnic route. Heard too much stress level stories for A level students. So how he manage in his sec level will determine which tertiary direction to go.

CCA is not an issue as he prefers sports like table tennis or can be uniform grp. Will explore further when school is confirmed.

Thanks for the prompt replies. Appreciate them šŸ™‚

Any opinions on Anderson this year? Is it too stressful? My daughter is very indecisive at the moment :?:

Hi Im a student. Chose Anderson and got in, scared to start a new school life in a new school environment. Any advice? Much would be appreciated. Also, considering Girl Guides as a cca. Good choice? Will it be stressful? Read lots saying that Anderson will be stressful. I am taking Express stream and Higher Chinese. :scratchhead:

What are the chances of getting through DSA concert band in this school. What are the academic and non academic expectations ?
