Yeah, I am surprised too that 256 can get into NUSH.
But even more surprised that he chose to stay at NJC instead of NUSH.

NUSH website has updated info on the PSLE score for last year PSLE applicants:

The cut-off point for the PSLE phase varies each year. In year 2009, the cut-off point was 256. -
