Hi All


Any parents with children attending Nan Chiau High School? Any sharing, especially on its standard of English?

I think its a good school. This year, it has obtained the best results ever b4. It a band 1 school now with average results of about 10.9. IT forte is maths and sciences, but the education is all-rounded there. The teachers will really push you to work.

Hi, My Son just completed his Sec 1 in a neighabouring Secondary school, I am considering to transfer him to Nan Chiau Secondary next year.

Anybody has any idea as how I should pusue with this path?
He actaully did OK in 2009 PSLE, T-Score 232, should have selected Nan Chiau at that time. He is doing OK in his Sec 1 studies, with A1 in Maths and B’s, C’s in other subject. He is also a School Badminton player and his school is doing well in this sports (within top 4 in North zone)will that be an advantage for this?

Most schools hold a waiting list. Go there and have him registered. You may also wish to approach the HOD PE or teacher I/c Badminton who may arrange for a trial.

My son score 230. Do you think he can apply for Nan Chiau (COP 231)?

Hope this year COP wont go up.

Compare Nan Chiau and Tanjong Katong Secondary School(TKSS) which is better?

My sister in law ask me to try for TKSS but their COP is 4 points higher & band 2. However, I like their system and teachers also very caring.

Can somebody enlighten me please.
