          Hi,

I am also looking at putting my boy in Mulberry (most likely CCK or Acer). I haven’t been to their centres yet but they were very helpful on the phone to explain their curriculum and philosophies. The pictures on their website look good and hopefully, the place is nice as well. Acer looks more grand with their own in house playgound nut then, they do not have outdoors. Most likely, will try to visit both centres this week end.

Wanted to find out from existing parents whether the kids really manage to be bilingual as one key factor for me is that they mentioned they promote bilinguism, with one English teacher and one Chinese teacher in each class. It is important for me as we don’t speak Chinsese at home and I really want my kid to be exposed to Chinese everyday. Thanks for your feedback.

I am also a bit concerned about what I read in another forum that quality of Mulburry has dropped as they have expanded (too fast). Is there a high turnover of teachers? Understand this is a major pb for most child care centres operators.

          Thanks

hi, just want to update you.

yesterday my girl came back with several presents, I thought somebody’s birthday. but she told me:"xxx’s last day". oh, then she told me 3 other children’s names who was last day in Mulberry JE.

as a matter of fact, I am withdrawing my girl starting next year too. Her class chilren headcounts dropped from 27 to 19 now further to 15

the next year teacher line-up came out yesterday too. there are still not securing teacher for K1 next year, and old teacher from JE is deploying to TP branch ( the newest branch) too. After reading this, I feel lucky that I transfered my girl to another school

Thanks for your updates. Were there specific reasons why you withdrew your kid from the school? Thanks

Hi.. sorry I'm not sure about the history of Mulberry so correct me if I'm wrong..

I'd just like to ask about the curriculum for the kindergarten children from Mulberry.. is the curriculum for kindergarten levels well prepared for primary school..?

                Thanks 😄

My son also turned 1 year last month. Also looking at sending him to Mulberry in Oct 2012. But their fees are rather steep.

ya! agree it was quite steep. But given with the facilities and all the info and updates the teacher would update u thru email and a communication book between parents and teachers ,it was quite attractive. That's why me too wanna know whether is the teachers teaching are worth the steep price. 🤷

                        Hi,

Not sure how existing mummies think of Mulberry Acer Infantcare? It gives me marvellous impression day one since I stepped into it. it’s spacious, very clean and tidy. Most imptly, I’m impressed because of the teacher quality. I saw 3 chinese teachers aged 40plus, very experienced and loving.

It started small (with 3 to 4 kids only), now, it is around 12? And I saw the recruitment of 2 younger indian teachers. I’m quite worried because I felt that they are quite young… And I found out from other teachers they do not have kids yet…

As the school fee is quite steep, I expect certain quality of teachers. I am willing to pay for the premium if the standard remains.

                        Any opinions from other mummies?
