        Yuen Ling:
Hi, my girl who is now 1 is attending the infant care at Raffles.. Initially the centre looks really good, the principle is very nice, teachers are very friendly and helpful.. They also have a time table paste outside showing us the activities they planned for the infant thing like showing english and chinese flash card...

        .
Wow! just got to know that Mulberry has its 5th CC in such a short perid! Really fast expanded and it has been aiming to high-end customer. From Jurong east --->Chua Chu Kang---> IBP Acer --->Tanjiong Pagar--->Raffles place.

When I first registered my girl in PN JE in 2009, it was the only branch it had and now developed 4 new branches in less than 4 years! If the fees not steep how do they manage to expand so fast? They are more on marketing their brand and making money from young parenets and kids.

I started to look for new school for my girl in end 2010 when the 2nd brach (CCK) was open and I found the teacher's qualification not upto standard and school management not improved after my many complaints. With new branches one by one, experienced teachers were transfered out and also teachers' workload was high and were not able to take good care of kids and fulfill the project (the written project is good, though). After too much disappoinment, Finally I transfered out my kids in 2012...and my girl is much happier in new school then in Mulberry.

Of course I admit that teachers there are kind and helpful(we had been in good communication and had plenty of discussion and we still meet sometimes) but they are just too busy to take care so many children while delivering good lessons to kids.

            Hi Mommies and Daddies,

Could advice how much roughly for N2 (AM)?

is the CCK branch good? I am worried because this is the first time for my daughter to enter school, previously only went to several play & learn class @ Gymboree.

she’s very active and since this is her first time to go schooling, she lacks social skills and easily provoke by other children, currently she’s on trial @ MMI beauty world, a bit far & time consuming on the journey and we would like to change to nearer to our home, yew tee area.

Thank you for the help Mommies & Daddies!!!

Both my DS are in Acer branch for the last 2+yrs. My youngest started from infant. So far, my kids are very happy here and they enjoy and look forward to going to school everyday. My eldest was transferred out from the previous school and he is much happier here.

My kid is in mulberry JE since May last year. Their turnover really very high. Change 6 teachers so far. They used to be very good but apparently the good partner that setup the mulberry has left due to differences in mgmt style and she brought ex principal from JE and Tanjung Pagar to the new centre called The Learning Campus at Yung Ho (Taman Jurong area). Alot if parents have also jumped over to the new school. I was on very good terms with 2 of the ex teachers and they told me this. Seems like they pay peanuts and many teachers are only certificate in EC instead of diploma. I’m contemplating to change school if things dont improve.

Starting from yr 2013, the standards for JE side has dropped drastically! Not to mention the high rate of teachers turnover but also the person in charge( school principal)

The internal management is worse! I encounter a case when my kid signed uop for the extra curriculum but he did not get to attend till i realize it on my own. Not only that, there are more frustrating cases i encountered all due to THEIR INTERNAL ISSUES!
Their so called principal teacher don’t seems to be sincere in solving all these issues even with several feedbacks. Or to say, never reply to my email of complaint.
I believe that a gd school makes up of gd responsible teacher and a gd management leader. In this yr…i would say that for the fees that i pay, there will be better school than JE.
How would u expect something gd when the managment is so poor.
                    My personal opinion!
PS: before that, everything is gd…always 2 ways of communication etc.

Hi Hdbmummy, they will increase fees from next year. 😞 Will you still continue?
