Any comment LV@ncs?
-
i went to the open house at IBP. the place looks spacious and big. and they have rooms for toddlers class. for older kids, it’s at open area, divided by small cabinets. the principal was rather friendly. i’m inclined to enrol my child but the fees are not cheap… still considering. and they have a small playgroup outside just for the children.

Hi everyone,
I will like to learn more about this preschool/ childcare too. Can anyone tel me if the curriculum includes playing? As I think it’s best for tots to learn through playing and not all sit down structured lessons. I’m thinking of enrolling my girl for half day childcare at Changi biz park branch when she turns 18 months… -

Read about the high teacher turnover rate at the Changi Business Park centre...has this been resolved yet? I've also met up with the Principal sometime back while I made a visit there. She seemed kinda high-handed? I found the teachers ok, but not sure if its because they are nicer with visitors around....haha.
Any parents who's kids are with this centre currently care to share your experiences? I am thinking of enrolling my child there...But I was told there are no half-day programs available & all their kids are with them full-time?
:thankyou: -
approx how many times your boy fall sick in a year?
roamingglass:
I'm not sure about the wait list. Better to call them and check. The Principal is Audrey and administrator is Jenny.BabyRR:
Tku vm for prompt reply roamingglass. Does the babies at infant care fall sick frequently? And do you know if there's already a long wait list for the infant care?
As for falling sick, yes he does. In fact he is still falling sick regularly. I think it is to be expected that when you send your kids to centres (be it infant or childcare) they are bound to be sick for at least 1 year. They get \"introduced\" to a host of viruses and when 1 kid in the class get sick, it will merry go round. You just have to be mentally prepared.
But if you can accept it, you will find sending them to centres early has a positive impact of their behaviour. I wrote a http://roamingglass.blogspot.com/2011/01/good-things-about-childcare-center.html on it beginning of this year, have a read when you free. -
