Oh, seem that Lv is increasing the sch fee to a number of the Lv centre. Not sure bec of the change of mgt . Now they are under knowledge gp which mgt pat schoolhouse , oddessy , n Brighton Montessori . They are trying to perch more up market . find that really at their mercy.
they wanted to increase the fee by $300! From jun onward. N finally after negotiating , they agreed to spread out the increase to 3 years.
They cited the increase cost of staff.
Can’t the mcys provide subsidy n grant to the staff in child care since any increase cost will pass to the parents n this is the area that govt should be looking at n provide heavy subsidy to the industry if it want to encourage more birth rate! -
Actually, I think the govt’s aggressive push towards more childcare centres is making the problem worse. Wasn’t it last week that the govt announced they will open 200 more centres? The staff must come from somewhere right? So I think childcare owners pay more to retain their teachers, or attract new ones… As a result, we are all having to pay more for childcare now. I don’t think increase in fees is exclusive to LV or KU schools. We should let the govt. know… Maybe give feedback via govt. portals.

Can parents share their experiences, be it good or bad?? or nobody put their kids there therefore no comments?? hee

My boys are in LV@Punggol Field. N1 this year. LV@Punggol Field is changing hands in August. So it will become Sunflower Childcare.
Most likely will want to transfer them to the other LV in Punggol. Hopefully, there's still space.

My gal also from LV Punggol Field. Worst she from K2. Imagine graduating with Sunflower cert? Why can’t they change after term end?

Now quite diff to find another school…
I don’t intend to continue with Sunflower… and continuing with LV is not an option… so got to find another school -
Jan06mum, My boy at LV @ PFW, LV give your K2 kid any transfer chance? They may transfer us to YCK but too far!!

We wait reply from MCYS this week and see how. we ask delay 4 months to handle over, not sure!

I will cont with sunflower cos my ger wanted to be with her frenz and its also not easy to find another CC now .
