Disneyland

Thanks, mychildren.
Looking at their website now. Looks like need to budget $5-6k for this trip. -
I always takes the F&E because I know how to speak Cantonese & thick skin to ask. If you don't go high class restaurant, buy mineral water or stuffs for snacks from those cheers store \"welcome\" or watson when you visit places of interest whereby stuffs there are ex & eat at eateries or ๅคงๅฎถไน (big portion : can share & tea hours some food are cheaper), you don't spend much. The bomb cost is only from hotels stay & air tickets.
Also, u may check from website on cheaper lodging for longer stay. I sometimes extend my stay & book online for other hotel. As for their MTR, check which signs for different exits. Also make sure you bring along some plastic bags cause their convenience store charge u for plastic bags. They are now going green.

Hi,
Can anyone advise whether itโs worthwhile to stay at HK Disneyland Hotel cos the prices are really very steep? Or anyone can advise where can I get a better rate for booking of hotel rooms at HK Disneyland? -
That is why I tell my kids to spread out and not leave space for people to come through........hehehe. What to do must be kiasu.

BTW this happened to us in USS too...again PRC adults :([/quote]
Me too at USS. We q before a big family of Indian tourists. The men came so close to near pressing his body on my back. i had to keep leaning forawrd and move my dc away from theirs. Then they tried to cut q and was held back by the staff refusing them onto the boat. quite funny i thought. -

I am not much of a souvenir shopping person. When I go Europe, I only buy bags, shoes (because they are so much cheaper then Singapore) and perhaps Hard Rock T-shirts :boogie:
The only type of souvenirs I buy are fridge magnets (I need a bigger fridge! :rotflmao: ) as they are easy to carry and easy to stick on the fridge. Other then that I buy food stuff. Eg in Paris get foie gras (in a small tin or bottle) as it's cheaper and taste yummy with toast, esp the champaige flavoured ones, Macaroons there are nice too. Can't remember buying any special food stuff in Italy...hmmmm. Not sure if i bought the cheap olive oil from Italy or Greece, but Italy should have good ones
It depends if you are catholic. I am, so in Rome, I bought religious articles like rosaries
You going UK, France and Italy all in one trip? Wow! -

I always buy Chanel in Europe. I have bought in London, Paris and Rome and several other European cities, and it's always about 30% cheaper then singapore after claiming tax refund. Have bought LV, Gucci and Prada too. All cheaper, but savings for Chanel is best. These are without discounts as LV and Chanel never gives discount. Prada is cheap at regular store, but even cheaper in outlets.
Ferragamo shoes are also much cheaper then Singapore, even before discount. With discount even cheaper, without need to go outlet.
Even if you don't buy designer stuff, they have lots of brandless leather bags and shoes in Italy.
I don't use Lancรดme, so never checked out the prices.
