LeeTaiTai, did ur mum ever mention what amt she wish to get? sometime they may compare with what your cousins give to ur aunt etc. i'm not sure if my mum compares, but my cousins did check with me how much i give!


i give my mum $800 per mth, no maid given to her. i din reduced since i send DS to CC. currently my mum only help cooked dinner for our family on wkdays nite. DS go full day CC.

wow... $800 is alot and with CC , my mum did compare with her friends.. some were giving $1000 which I can't afford plus vacations lol

b4 i give birth, gave her $500. so top up $300 aft DS is born. DH take care of the CC fee. i can't afford allowances for them when they go holiday. luckily i got 3 other working siblings to take care of their entertainment expenses.

:yikes: $800 is alot, i used to give her tat amt when i only have DS, but expenses goes up as we have more kids n it cut down to half esp when we have to put all 3 in CC.. not cheap leh.. plus upgraded hse..

i only got 1 kid mah. :evil: yah, all my 3 siblings still single. my sis always sponsor their trip and even bring them along. if she nvr join them, she will give them $ to spend. so far my mum nvr compare in front of me. guess she knows i'm a big spender, cannot expect too much. :rotflmao:
