Saturday not working, 5 days week for me. When you work on Sat half day, it feels like almost working for day. Times just zooms past. So weekends end up just one day rest. That’s why I think all companies in Singapore should just stick to 5 days week.

How do u normally "settle" your children during long school holidays given that we can’t keep taking leave?

Now contemplating if should put dd & ds in student care.

Normally I will ask my mil or my family members to help. As for my sis she will send them for holiday camp to learn independent etc.

For pre-schoolers, anybody know of anything eg. part-time CCC, or any enrichment programme to keep them occupied during the year-end holiday?


My boy after 2 weeks of staying at home will start wondering why he is not going to school and actually will ask to go to school! But I am FTWM with maid looking after baby at home cannot send and fetch him for holiday enrichment. How?

Thanks Linlin. Mine will be with in laws during school holidays. After a week there she gets bored. I have no one to help send her for holiday camp & classes. headache!
