If any of you got relatives in kuala lumpur. I may suggest a place name Kiddo Science Centre. Their enrichment more focus on experimental subjects and most importantly they can bring back all the experiments you child did. You can try visit in :

I also think that concept map may not be veyr useful for some kids, but mindmap is more useful for some kids.

You mentioned you hv tried perceptum for your kid - whats e reason of your withdrawal? Is it the one in bishan?
So are you in tinkerlab now? How do you find it?
              How old is your kid?
              Sorry so many questions!.... 🕺
              :thankyou:

                Hi DinoMum,
How old are your kids? Does Smartlab emphasis alot on exam techniques?
I just find that Science is really a difficult subject to teach... at least for me. Maths & Languages are so much more straightforward.
Science seems to be a subject that either the kid loves or hates... so getting the right teacher at school and also an interesting tuition/enrichment centre is really important...

Appreciate if you could share more on your experience with Smartlab? :rahrah:
                :thankyou:

plus location not conducive. nothing to loiter ard when waiting
and the class size quite big then.

                        Hi 24hrmum
                        Thanks for your reply! 😄
Is your girl in tinkerlab or any other centre now?
Does the classes really help to interest your girl?
Maybe I am kiasu, my DS is gg P2 only next yr but I guess I need time to look for a good science enrichment centre... esp good ones with good timing, get snapped up real fast! 🕺

Looks like not so much active threads on Science as compared to Languages / Maths.. maybe most parents go for 1-to-1 tuition for Science esp fr P3 onwards?....
