        Hi,

I am trying to source for an enrichment class for P3 Science. Does anyone have any comment on the following?

        - Learning Lab Science
        - Smart Science Lab

Kindly advise if there’s any others that I should also consider.

        Thanks.

              Hi SydneyBB,

              I’ve replied your PM.

Although my DD2 SA2 Sci maintains at 80+, I’m ok with it as I know that the highest is only 90 and most of her classmates’ marks drop quite a lot. Think quite norm for P5, but her tutor thinks she can get A* and is gearing her up for next year PSLE already.

                Hello,

Wondering are you still looking for science tutor ? If you still looking, maybe you can contact Susan, she's a experienced tutor for 20 years in science. Will PM you for details and hope it help you..
Hi, I'm looking for intensive individual science tuition in November for my DD. she's in p5 this year. Does anyone have any contact for a good tutor? My DD knows her stuff, it's just that she doesn't know how to answer the questions in the right way and is losing marks for that.

                  I would recommend Science Heuristics.

                  http://www.scienceheuristics.com.sg/programmes.htm
My P6 girl is good in science, but bad at constructing the answer. She attended their holiday intensive class. It was very compact. She learns how to apply the concept and using essential words that helps to express her answer clearly. Her answer can be 3 lines, with the new skills she just needs a sentence or 2. I feels that this is an essential skill that can help her even in the Secondary Edu.
Science tuition is essential because she had encountered few teachers who can't finish the syllabus in time or rush through the lessons.
                  Hope this help.

                    Hi,

I’m looking more for individual learning. Is Science Heuristics one-to-one?
                    Thanks.

My child went to this new centre (Knowledge Kindler Learning Centre) at Kallang. The Science tr, Alvin, teaching there used to be a Science HOD and he is quite good. My P5 son managed to jump from 60+ in CA2 to 89 for his SA2 after with him for about 3 months. Even though is a tution centre, he will start the class even with 1 kid. U might want to give a try.

                        Thanks Love Clouds.
Their mock test was difficult where my son only got 70+ (sorry, I panicked), but in school exam SA2, my son managed to get 90. So happy now.
Luckily, I send him there as I cannot answer those Science questions. I tend to use layman terms.
