Jet lag and kids

Our recipe for jet lag - don’t sleep until it’s time in the country you are in, and try to eat at the regular meal times too. Try to adjust even on the plane as far as possible, using the time of the destination country. It’s best you don’t stay in the hotel room as the beds will be very tempting! Go out for a walk, sit in a park etc and get daylight. That will help the body clock adjust. It’s hard, but worth it. And my kids always adjust better than we do.
Oops, sorry. Just saw your timings. We arrived in the afternoon, so the above works for Paris. For your timings, it’s actually good. You will be so tired after waking up in the “middle” of the night, getting to the hotel etc, that by the time you get something to eat and settle in, it will be a reasonable bed time. Just go to bed and get up at a reasonable breakfast time, and you should be fine after a day or 2. -
yah i agree with slmkhoo - your timing is pretty good! Once you get into the city and the hotel, it will be around 9pm at the earliest. Have a quick dinner, than off to bed and you will be good to go thereafter!
The kids’ first visit to Paris must be pretty exciting for them - have lots of fun! -
One thing that worked for me but you might want to check with Pharmacist for kids. When I traveled to US (east coast), I took the air sickness pill which led to drowsiness. So I slept for most part of the flights. I ended up in US without jetlag. I used to suffer from jetlag before this. I did the same thing on the flight back as well.
