If your DC is to select among the top schools, every parents will let him decide.

What if your DC wanted to go to a very normal secondary school (because of friends or whatever reasons), will the parents still \"respect\" his choice?
What I have read so far, is as good as what our minister said: ALL SCHOOLS ARE GOOD SCHOOL, but who buys that? 🤷
Sorry if anyone feels offended, but this is real.
Some parents actually do it. Kudos to them. :salute: I think one can only tell if they face such situation bcoz it's easy to make hypothetical assumptions but not easy to actually face it.
He said All schools are GOOD. He didn't say all schools are EQUAL otherwise the whole PSLE cut off wouldn't be in place. 😄

Dear parents… regardless of the outcome of the DSA results, let’s all put our efforts and time towards our DC… i think right now, they are more worried about the upcoming PSLE exams… a rejected offer/ waiting list offer should not demoralise them and we should be there to help and support them…

If we behave too anxious for our DC’s DSA outcome, and if is not a very happy result, they may feel it’s their fault… and then it will make them feel more unhappy and less motivated…

Let’s just keep our fingers cross and spend more time wisely with the kiddos… Long weekend soon!

NYGH WL has track record of converting to CO. A WL there is as good as a CO.

In past years : there were 2 different type of Waitlists : WL1 and WL2.

Those in WL1, are ranked highly, as good as a CO.

                WL2 : not certain

Is this still the case now?

                    Different boys, different strokes.
I can vouch for this. My neighbour's sons went to different schools as well.

Anyone heard from SJI yet? Certainly very late this year, which is strange since there was much fewer applicants.

                      :xedfingers:

nope. nothing yet. i just keep refreshing my email and KSparents forum hoping for updates!

My DH was in SJI and he said there is a tea reception being set up now. He wonders if this is for DSA and texted me. But I told him results not out yet according to KSP. :? :scratchhead:

Teachers go for MOE joint celebration. Admin staff working full usual day. Hope they work quickly to inform all parents who deserve to know results.
