My husband took me on a 1 night staycation on our anniversary earlier this year (after we had already celebrated in advance with a UK trip!). I also feel a bit of the \"wallet pain\", but since he really wanted to do it, I accepted with good grace. In a way, accepting with gratitude is our \"gift\" to them. It would be so much worse if they didn't want to spend that time and money on us. -

I haven't had staycation since before ds1. Even that one time, it was because promotional free redemption gift. Cannot justify paying so much to stay in SG when home is just as comfortable.
Wanted to book a chalet this Dec. Saw the cost, think about the packing and washing after.... I got tired.
easier to just pack the kids off to their grandparents place and me and dh have our me time at home. -

jedamum, if u have ntuc union membership or know anyone who has- D resort is around $140 to 200 plus per nite - booked few months in advance . come with 4 www pass for familyI haven't had staycation since before ds1.
