We had bought this series Mr. Boom - The Passionate Science Teacher.

BTW, the CL version is 热血科学 and we had ever borrowed from the Library.

Not surprised, dangdang sells the whole survival set in Chinese. It is cheaper, but no way on earth DS will read those in Chinese. He still not power enough. A pity becos the Chinese have translated so many nice science stuff from Korea, English and other languages.

Yes, is cheaper. I bought one of the series (13 books) through Peeka and paid about $5.00 per book and the size of the book is much bigger.

Went to suntec Bookfair today. Unfortunately couldn’t bring myself to pay for the china books. Will be going shopping in dangdang soon.


Oh. SAP selling their assessment books at 3 for $10 or 4 for $10. I got loads of English assessment from teachers@work at that price. Popular Bookfair selling the same at $3.90 to $5.50. These are 2012 publications.

Times selling GS for $5 per book but very limited titles and some families / kids getting quite a number of books. Horrid Henry about same price too. This is at the World Book Fair.
