Pen88, DS could only tell me that he feels survival in the human body can learn a lot (3 book set). But I felt it is a bit too deep (cheem) about the human body, not sure if DS really know what is going on - he is now telling me about benign and malignant tumours (this book 3).
Another feedback: surviving crisis is the funniest, you may want to explore that book. -
Pen88n:
Hi Pen88n
Thanks, Busymom, for the info. Btw, which are the thicker books? Do they have different pricing or content more?
Will go home and check the Horrible Science book before I revert. Somehow I think I already have that particular book but better to see and confirm.
Seem like those written by Hong Jae-Cheol are thicker. The ones that DD has read are by Choi Duk-Hee. Anyway, it's just slightly thicker. Of the ones I have mentioned earlier, DD likes the Glacier story the most. There is also an award on the front cover stating that it is the winner of the Korean Published Educational Comics Award 2002. Not sure if the award is specific to only this book or more generally to the entire Survival series.
I think don't need to be too concerned about contents (most probably DD has exaggerated). More important is that the kid enjoys reading the book.
By the way, you can also consider the treasure hunt series. These are set in different countries (USA, France, Japan, etc.)
On the Horrible Science book, let's take it offline through PM. -

I don't have these. Haha, will look out for them the next round. Thanks for the heads up.Pen88, DS could only tell me that he feels survival in the human body can learn a lot (3 book set). Thanks Hquek and Busymom.
Hquek, just a quick check, is the title of the book you mentioned "Surviving Crisis" or you are referring to titles like "Survival during a Earthquake" or "Survival during Climate Change"? Was at Popular last night and enquired staff, but canβt find "Surviving Crisis". Thanks.
Sorry, Busymom, home late last night and kids already sleeping, so did not on the lights in the room to check the Horrible Science book. Will do so this weekend and PM you. -
Hello parents, does anyone saw the shop sell electricity tracks next to the book fair at Hougang? I passed by for the book fair but the store is no longer there

Not sure who the author is, but the spine is red in colour. It could be this http://www.gempakstarz.com/products_novel_details.php?id=618 (title \"Escaping crisis\").

Definitely. I posted before la. Popular Malaysia selling these at rm9.50 to 10.50. With popular card got discount. Btw, popular at pelangi is having sale now. I got some titles at like 30% off at a previous sale (not sure if they still stock this during current sale).
I think it is from 1 to 8 or 10 June.
