Received the SMS too from Popular on Monday about the 50% sale, actually has plan to go down tmr but today I just checked their website there’s T&C to it - Grab $120 worth of items then it’s entitled to the 50% off books and 25% off assessment book, stationery etc…

Realized that it’s actually their moving out sale from city square - everything must go! last day of business is 24 Jun…

Those interested can check their website for more details.

Quite good selection of storybooks for adults and kids and teens. It is bigger than United Square Popular. Assessment book selection is ok. I remember seeing that the discount for storybooks seem good.

I find United Square’s selection seems q limited after their renovation.
Will prob drop by if hv e time…

Yes, I agree that United Sq place seems very limited. City Sq seems bigger in comparison. There are some fiction type books, pretty big place for stationery. Went last night and saw that quite a number of Geronimo books are no longer on the shelves, and the survival series also only got a couple of titles left; they also seem to be clearing out some stationery stuff (probably those are non-discount).

but on the other hand, i spotted TAS creative writing book volume 2 on the shelves (at P3 english section I think). Also pretty good mix of assessment books.

Let me know the crowd there, I can only go after work. half scared if it’s going to be very busy.

City Square Mall is quite inconvenient right? Anyone know if there is a MRT station within walking distant?

                        Farrer Park MRT.

Distance is secondary when it comes to good bargains. :boogie:
